Neanderthal Grill The only way to enjoy an indoor barbecue

Welcome to the Wildman Neanderthal Grill web site

Barbecue the way the Neanderthals did!

Grilling with wood brings barbeque fun indoors at any time of year - and whatever the weather.

Sitting around an oven is not as much fun.

After 20 years of experiment Essex inventor Joseph K Wildman brings cooking back to the days before coal with an open-topped wood burning grill, an indoor barbecue using sticks not charcoal beneath a chimney. The explosive woosh! of hot fat fires is replaced by the steady drip and splutter of fat burning away, a method well understood from Stone Age to early Tudor times.
